The founder, International Society for Peace and Safety (ISOPS), Oyaifo AbdulGhani hails from Warrake in Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State, located in the Niger Delta Region, one of the oil producing community in Nigeria, where aggression, violence, insecurity, tribalism and environmental destruction are part of his daily routines. Oyaifo AbdulGhani is the founder of International Society for Peace and Safety (ISOPS) he specialized in peace, safety and human rights which involves Conflict management, Conflict Resolution, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Negotiation and Peacebuilding.
The Human Rights experience includes activist and advocacy in Gender based Violence, Female Genital Mutilations, HIV/AIDS, and the marginalization of the less privileged.
He attended both local and international conferences, training and workshops in peace, safety and human rights and partnered with likes mind organizations to fulfill his goals in creating a world in which all humanity will live together in peace, prosperity and survive through non violent means.
He is a graduate with a Master in Occupational Safety and Fire Services from Martinville University USA, Higher National Diploma (HND) in Safety and Security Management from Rivers State Polytechnics and Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Lagos State University, Ojo Lagos Nigeria. He also attended United State Institute of Peace, (USIP) Washington DC USA, where he obtained certificates in Negotiation and Conflict Management, Conflict Analysis and Interfaith Conflict Resolution and Peace Operation Institute where he obtained five different certificates in UN peace building programs.He also received Peace Ambassador Certificate from Peacejam Foundation, and other peace and human rights certificates from other organizations. These studies gave him the necessary knowledge, skills and techniques to carry out his duties effectively.
