What is the International Society for Peace and Safety doing on the International Day of Peace

  • International Society for Peace and Safety ISOPS, we are organizing the International Day of Peace by recognizing and appreciating those that have worked with ISOPS, awarding those serving humanity in their various community and issuing certificates of participation to those who will be attending the Peace Day event and learn from a paper presentation.
  •  There will also be a paper presentation from peace specialists and educators to enable the participants to gain knowledge of peacebuilding in our society.
  • International Society for Peace and Safety is an NGO that works with young people to educate them about peace, safety and human rights to build and equip them to become champions of peace and human rights
  • International Society for Peace and Safety, (ISOPS) is a Non-governmental Organization, with a network of individuals in every nook and cranny of Nigeria. The organization was founded in 2012 but registered in Nigeria in 2015 with CAC No 78612 to assist in restoring peace, safety, and human rights in Nigeria and worldwide.
  • Vision: Help create a safe world in which all humanity will live together in peace, and prosperity through non-violent means.
  • Mission: To help reduce violence, restore peace, and uphold human rights advocacy through peace and human rights education in schools, communities, and workplaces.

• Number of Schools Visited= 1800

• Number of Students Trained= 4,833

• Number of Community Groups Visited =22

• Number of Community Group Trained = 813

• Number of workplaces Visited= 17

• Number of workplace Staff Trained= 690

  • Number of ISOPS Members Trained= 93
